Welcome to SKVAD. SKVAD is the result of a name change on the previous community DiGiViZ. The name SKVAD is a combination of two words, one of the words is the English word SQUAD and the other word is a fictional Swedish animal named SkVADER.

Why these two words?

• SQUAD – We usually play games and collaborate with others. So we thought the word SQUAD was a clear choice for that very reason.
• SKVADER – When we sat and thought about a mascot for the community, we came to think of the Swedish fictional animal SKVADER. That animal has its origins in an old Swedish hunting history. Precisely because it comes from it, we think it fits so well with all games as well. Because what makes gaming so fun? There is a lot to be said for the hunt, whether it is the hunt to collect good loot, the hunt to get to place # 1 in a Battle Royal game or why not the hunt to take the place as # 1 SQUAD on a DayZ server?
